I’m normally against posting anything resembling an ‘on ride video,’ but Alien Encounter is no more, sadly. It was an amazing attraction at WDW’s Magic Kingdom for a few short years, but brings back a lot of happy memories for me as a guest. This is one of the preshows.

The stuff of legends…Springsteen played this for the first time on May 9, 1974 when he opened for Bonnie Raitt at Harvard Square. A rock critic, Jon Landau, was at the show and wrote in Boston’s Real Paper: “I saw rock and roll’s future - and its name is Bruce Springsteen.” He later became Springsteen’s manager. 

Also, the basis for Sesame Street’s “Born to Add.”




Last night, we got got some free tickets to Aaron Kwok at the Encore here in Las Vegas.

It wasn’t nearly as weird as I thought it would be, pretty much a watered down Michael Jackson. His shows are usually meant for arenas, so we got the small kit as it was not a large theatre.

John Huntington’s piece on the quality of live sound has never been so true, though.
